Conservative Jones: I just had a nap, and had the most vivid dream: I dreamed that I travelled back in time and worked for the Dutch East India tea company, but they wouldn’t pay me in a currency that would be useful in our own time. So I took up a side line of trading opium for gold and silver bullion that wouldn’t lose its value.
Conservative Jones: I dreamed that I sold smack to Van Gogh and he loved it so much he gave up drinking absinth and was exclusively on the horse. He loved it so much that he painted sunflowers, but rubbed them out and made them opium poppies so I changed the course of art history forever
Southgate: That is a well odd dream
Conservative Jones: I know, not least of all because Van Gogh was broke - I don’t know where he got the gold from.
